A Concise Companion to Contemporary British Fiction (Concise Companions to Literature and Culture)
It was interesting to read about literature in a broader way for once. By that, I mean that realistic commercial aspects of publishing were considered, which shone new light on the published work itself. I found the articles quite difficult to get through at times, but it is an informative book nevertheless.
